Ernestine Romero, recording artist and song writer from Pojoaque,
NM, has released numerous albums in her youthful career. Her first album entitled "Recuerdos," was released at the
youthful age of 11 to be followed by her second album entitled "Siempre," at the age of 13. She soon released her
third album entitled "Por Que Te Fuistes." in 2003, featuring the title cut "Por Que Te Fuiste." Ernestine
also released a Christmas album “Feliz Navidad” in 2003, to be followed by her fourth album "Volume 4,"
in 2005. Ernestine released her first album entitled "No Te Vayas," recorded in San Antonio, TX and Houston,
TX and two collaborating music videos in 2007. Ernestine released sixth cd titled "Sin Ti" also recorded
in San Antonio which features already hit singles. She worked closely with talented Tejano artists. Recently on May 14,
2011 Ernestine released her 7th CD entitled "Aqui Estoy" which features Ernestine's
personality. She was able to put her heart and soul into her original songs that was writen with Anthony Ray Urbina and Cesar
Lara. Ernestine believes the CD "Aqui Estoy" really allows her to express herself and is very excited to share with
everyone. She worked with many very talented musicians, music producers, and engineers. Ernestine has been recognized
for her talent by receiving numerous talent awards within her musical career. She is a two time award winner in the Teen Singing
Competitions held in Los Angeles California and Las Vegas Nevada. She was nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year, Youth
Artist of the Year and Bilingual Song of the Year in 2001 for the New Mexico Hispano Entertainers Award Show. For Ernestine’s
album entitled "Volume 4," she was nominated for Gospel Song of the Year, Bilingual Song of the Year, Youth Artist
of the Year and Youth Song of the Year. With her album ”No Te Vayas,” she was awarded Latin Pop Song of the Year
with her song “Rebelde Atrevido” at the New Mexico Hispano Music Awards in Espanola, NM. At the 2007 New
Mexico Hispano Entertainers Association Awards Show in Albuquerque, NM she was nominated in 14 categories and won Latino
Pop song of the year with "Rebelde Atrevido" and won Song Writer of the year with co-writer Ray Urbina with
"No Te Vayas" along with Female Vocalist of the Year with song "No Te Vayas". In 2008 she was
awarded KANW People's Choice Female Vocalist of the Year. With her newest CD "Sin Ti" in 2009 she
was awarded KANW People's Choice Female Vocalist of the Year, Latino Pop Song of the Year, and Original Song of the Year.
Ernestine displayed her passion for music at the tender age of 3 and began her professional career at the
age of 8. Her musical talent and stage presence have made her a unique Latin artist who has performed throughout the United
States and parts of Mexico. She has been voted as one of the Tejano's Top Twenty Up and Coming Artists and is sure to be in
the music industry for years to come. Ernestine enjoys and keeps busy attending college which she just graduated with her
Bachelor's Degree in Business on May 14, 2011. She also is busy working, playing basketball, singing/dancing and operating
her own mobile DJ music system, La Jovencita and the Romero's Mobile DJ, for different occasions. Take a look at Ernestine's
